To reduce the amount of carbon we produce, both as individuals and as a community
Porty Community Energy
We are a community organisation in Portobello (Edinburgh) interested in reducing carbon emissions and helping the community transition to low carbon living.
To reduce the amount of carbon we produce, both as individuals and as a community.
We are currently working on the following topics which we hope to develop locally in the near future:
- Low-carbon transport including EVs and electric cargo bikes
- Low-carbon heating including innovative district heating/sea source heat pumps
- Combined solar generation and storage to provide clean energy to a building, possibly with EV/ebike chargers
